Tallitot (Prayer Shawls)

These are some of the tallitot created by Mertel the Turtle Fabric Arts. Some are no longer available, (indicated by the absence of a price on the close-ups), but you may commission similar work. Please contact us if you are interested in commissioning a tallit like what you see above - or if you have another idea altogether.

• The tallitot can be made in any size. The standard Bar/Bat Mitzvah size is 20" X 65" and the Adult size is 40" X 72". Unless otherwise indicated, those shown in the above photographs are standard Bar/Bat Mitzvah sizes.
• All of the tallitot are made with a slightly raised atarah (the part of the tallit that drapes around one's neck).
• The tallitot are made of synthetic fabric that has the look and feel of silk and come with a matching tallit bag and yarmulke.
